Butternut pumpkin and Queensland blue pumpkin

Pumpkin is one of everybody's favourites. Roasted pumpkin, baked, with chicken or just vegetables, everybody have their own special pumpkin recipes.

Butternut pumpkin has a sweet, nutty taste that is similar to pumpkin. It has yellow skin and orange fleshy pulp. When ripe, it turns increasingly deep orange, and becomes sweeter.

Japanese pumpkin has a naturally sweet flavour, it is similar in texture and flavour to a pumpkin and a sweet potato combined.

Queensland Blue Pumpkin is a large variety with deep orange flesh and a grey-green skin. It has good flavour and stores very well.
